Biography
Robert of Southowram. The relationship of this Robert, through John (c.1470), Richard (c.1500), and Robert (c.1518) was verified by a petition to Cardinal Wolsey c.1519, which establishes four generations of the same line. Robert (c.1518) was the great-grandson of this Robert.
Victor’s article also mentions that Robert of Southowram received a royal pardon in 1469, and that eight years later Robert of Ouzan (Exley Hall) was indicted for treason. These may be the same person or close relatives.
