Biography
Dorothy Jewell, daughter of Samuel Jewell. Married Robert Exley on 21st March 1731. They lived at High Royds (High House), Rawdon.
Her sister Mary Jewell married Joseph Booth of 219 Main, Bingley, and was cousin to the first Jewell owners of the Clock House Estate in Bradford.
Dorothy died in old Rawdon aged 62 years, just seven days after her husband Robert.
