Biography
Esther Davis, born 27 January 1832 at Farley Hill, south-east of Reading. Daughter of James Davis and Sarah. Married James Lomax c.1850. Emigrated to New Zealand. Died 19 February 1914.
In 1913, James and Esther Lomax had 9 children, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. By 1914 they were at Pevensey House, Mona Bay, and two years later at 18 Lindum Terrace, Oriental Bay, Wellington.
